Paul Jennings joins Biesse UK as Joinery Process Manager

Home / News / Paul Jennings joins Biesse UK as Joinery Process Manager
Paul JAt Biesse Inside, October 2009, Biesse announced a new aim. To be amongst the market leaders for windows and doors in Europe, and to do so through completion of its range of machinery for manufacturing all types of European Windows and Doors.

In line with recent strategic initiatives to present hi-tech solutions that permit customers to cut production costs but have higher quality products, Biesse have appointed Paul Jennings as Joinery Process Manager for the UK.

Paul has spent his entire career to date in the woodworking industry; having served a Wood Machinist apprenticeship is qualified and has worked as an Industrial Engineer and Production Manager. Initially, Paul gained sales experience in tooling sales, and in more recent years Paul has been highly successful in the sales of CNC machine centers for Windows and Doors. Having spent the last five years with SCM as their Sales Manager for Solid Wood Machinery, Paul was ready to step up to a new challenge.

Biesse has been developing a range of machines specifically tailored to the requirements of the joinery industry, including high performance machining centres, as well as CNC routers.  New range of machines for Joinery from Biesse will produce with more efficiency and greater economy, all types of British joinery including Windows, Doors and Stairs.

Paul says "As far as the manufacture of windows and doors are concerned, the days of the old angular window systems with huge foot prints, multiple stack heads consuming vast amounts of electricity and requiring a small hurricane for extraction, are at an end. The new WINLINE range of machinery, including the Rover A, Rover C-WMS and the Uniwin range, provide integrated modular solutions for just-in-time working of wooden doors and windows including specials that will meet the requirements of everyone, from small to large companies. This new range of machinery is designed to addresses manufacturers concerns over environmental issues, as well as being compact in terms of foot print. Power consumption of the range is vastly reduced in comparison to the old angular window systems therefore having a reduced impact on over heads."

In line with this new commitment to the Joinery Sector a new Sales Net is being formed. Already in place is Paul Nightingale who having worked with Biesse for 3 ½ years in the Panel Processing Sector, has turned his past skills and experience back to the Joinery Sector, covering his "home" territory of Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, and Northamptonshire.

Through extensive market research a new sales process has also been implemented, allowing the pre study of tooling, software and machine configuration of the popular UK Window and Door construction, designs and configurations. This process negates the long drawn out installation and training period that has long been associated with CNC machines for joinery processing.
